The training "Scrum for Advanced Scrum Masters + Preparation for PSM II" is aimed at experienced Scrum Masters who want to expand their competencies, gain a deeper understanding of how Scrum works, and become true leaders in an agile approach. The course covers the interpretation of the Scrum Guide according to the vision of Scrum.org, which is crucial for the PSM II exam. Additionally, the course prepares participants for the PSM II exam, based on the latest version of the Scrum Guide.

This course has been created for test managers, quality assurance staff, testers, software developers, project managers and management in order to explain how the Agile project management frameworks (notably SCRUM) deal with testing.

At the end of the course, each of the delegates will design and execute a test plan for a sample application (it can be an actual client application if available)

This foundation level course addresses the needs of people involved in the topic of Requirements Engineering and Agile. RE@Agile is inspired both by IREB’s view of Agile values as well as by an Agile view of Requirements Engineering values. Its content includes classification and assessment of Requirements Engineering work products and techniques in the context of Agile, of Agile work products and techniques in the context of Requirements Engineering, and of essential process elements in Agile product development. RE@Agile points to the motivation to use Agile in a development process.

An important area is the synergy between Requirements Engineering and Agile: Agile Principles concerning Requirements Engineering and Agile mindset in relation to the core Requirements Engineering values.

The Examination

This course is the basis for the RE@Agile Primer examination. Two different examinations are available:

• Proctored multiple-choice examination with official RE@Agile Primer certificate, similar to the CPRE Foundation Level and Advanced Level multiple-choice examinations, but 40 minutes duration.
• Online multiple-choice self-assessment with confirmation of participation.

This Advanced Level Module RE@Agile is addressed to Requirements Engineers and agile professionals. It focuses on understanding and applying practices and techniques from the Requirements Engineering discipline in agile development processes as well as understanding and applying concepts, techniques and essential process elements of agile approaches in Requirements Engineering processes./p>

The Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) is a certificate aimed at individuals working in Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis and Testing. The course covers the fundamentals of the Requirements Engineering domain, methodology and available techniques.

The certification scheme is developed by the IREB,and the CPRE exam can be taken at approved certification bodies. 

Who is this course for ?

Everyone working with Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis, software and systems development. The Foundation Level encompasses the elicitation of requirements with appropriate documentation, requirements verification and validation as well as their management throughout the end-to-end product life-cycle.
